From the Artist: "This remix album would have never happened if the Atlanta and Athens music weren’t as welcoming or generous to me as a freshly solo’d artist. After losing Dead Neighbors to Covid, making the SLM_RNG_EP was a healing exercise. I finally got to play the bass clarinet on a record. I finally got to arrange strings on a song of mine. Writing it in March and releasing the EP in August made me feel like my agency as an artist was restored. Around my birthday in March of this year, I put out a story on my personal and the slime ring Instagrams, half-jokingly, half-seriously, and was promptly overwhelmed by the fact that people took the time even to respond. The remix album came out longer than the EP when all was said and done. I’m honored and want to thank clerical_necromancy, Keron, Arson0, Floral Department, Ace_Wo, Zach Gastley, OHMU, and John Pierce for contributing their work to the remix collection, and Terence Chiyezhan for mastering this and the original EP."

There will also be first edition runs of Slime Ring merchandise including limited run prints, shirts, and CDs with both the original EP and the remix album. This will be the first slime show ever where I’ll have merch, so it’s slimier than ever
